Yes, there are other medical conditions that may contraindicate EMSCULPT NEO treatment, including:

• Skin conditions : Inflammatory dermatoses or infections, as the radiofrequency energy may make them worse 
• Muscle or connective tissue disorders : The intense contractions induced by the device may aggravate these conditions 
• Bleeding disorders or blood thinners : You should not undergo EMSCULPT NEO if you have bleeding disorders or take blood thinners 
• Recent surgical procedures : You should not undergo EMSCULPT NEO if you have had a recent surgical procedure in the treatment area 
• Metal implants : You should not undergo EMSCULPT NEO if you have metal implants in the treatment area, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, or metal IUDs 
• History of cancer : You should not undergo EMSCULPT NEO if you have a history of cancer, especially if the treatment area is near the site of a previous tumor 
•  People with heart, kidney, or liver problems or diseases 

Other contraindications include: Pregnancy or breast feeding, Epilepsy or active malignancy, Pulmonary insufficiency or cardiac disorders, Impaired sensation or numbness in the treatment area, and Graves Disease. EMSCULPT NEO treatment is not recommended in some circumstances due to the electromagnetic effects of the treatment. EMSCULPT NEO isn’t an appropriate choice if you:

EMSCULPT NEO should NOT be used in patients with cardiac pacemakers or implanted defibrillators. EMSCULPT NEO should NOT be used in patients with implanted neurostimulators or drug pumps. 

EMSCULPT NEO is FDA-cleared and has helped many people build muscle and reduce excess fat. However, the procedure is not recommended for everyone. Prior to or after a pregnancy, EMSCULPT NEO has no negative impact on women. However, pregnant women are advised not to undergo a EMSCULPT NEO treatment on any part of their body. 

 Each treatment area takes about 30 minutes. 

 For best results, patients typically complete a package of 8 sessions (spaced 3-4 days apart).  Basically 2x per week for 4 weeks.   Results vary, some patients need more or less depending on their age, nutrition, exercise, hormonal balance, etc.    

The number of treatments required is dependent on your desired results and where you are starting in terms of muscle tone and undesirable fat. One series (one series is 8 sessions) of EMSCULPT NEO treatment will increase muscle up to 25% and reduce fat by up to 30% in the treated area. Many people are pleased with the results of just one series of EMSCULPT NEO treatment. Some people feel that they need more than one series of treatment to achieve their desired results. Tangible results are felt right after the treatment, similar to an intensive workout of the target area muscles. Positive visible results for muscle toning are usually seen two to four weeks after the last session in the series of treatments. Positive visible results of fat reduction are usually seen 8-12 weeks after treatment. The underlying muscles require time to adapt and strengthen. Fat cells that are destroyed through apoptosis during the series of treatments are gradually and naturally eliminated by the body. Visible results continue to improve for weeks to months after the treatment series. 

 Emsculpt Neo treatments feel like an intense workout, but they shouldn't be painful.    The EMSCULPT NEO procedure feels like an intensive workout of muscles in the target area being treated. The variable level is increased by the EMSCULPT NEO Specialist during the course of the treatment based on your feedback. The level is gradually increased over the series of treatments.  

 EMSCULPT NEO is highly effective for building muscle and reducing fat – up to 25% muscle mass increase and 30% fat reduction per series of treatments – on the abdomen. EMSCULPT NEO may result in some skin tightening in the treated area. However, EMSCULPT NEO is not a skin tightening treatment. 

Fat removal is permanent, but you can regain weight if you don't maintain a healthy diet and exercise. Muscle building results are also long-lasting, but you'll need to continue to use the muscles to maintain them. 

 Emsculpt Neo can be used on the abs, glutes, hamstrings, inner and outer thighs, biceps, and triceps. 

 You might experience slight soreness, tenderness, or redness in the treated area. You should avoid applying oils or lotions to the treatment area, and you should remove any jewelry or piercings. 

 There's usually no recovery time, and you can resume normal activities as tolerated.  

Emsculpt Neo side effects sometimes include nausea and dizziness, especially in people who are sensitive to high-intensity electromagnetic energy. They might feel unwell during or immediately following their sessions. The sensations are usually mild and only last for a few hours.
